Measurements: to fit bust or chest size 97cm to 102cm (38” to 40”)Length from top of shoulder: 66cm (26”) Materials: 650 grms hand-spun wool. One pair each of 6.5mm and 4.5mm needles. Tension: 14 sts = 10cm (4”) Check your own tension as
you probably spin differently to me.

Abbreviations: CB4 = Slip next 2 stitches onto a cable needle and leave at back of work. Knit 2 stitches from left hand needle, then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle. CF4 = Slip next 2 stitches onto a cable needle and leave at front of work. Knit 2 stitches from left hand needle, then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle. Back Cast on 83 stitches with
4.5 mm needles.
K1 P1 band for 7 cm (3”).Change
to 6.5 mm needles and knit in stocking stitch for 42 cm
(16.5”). Cast off for armhole. Front Cast on 83 stitches with
4.5 mm needles.
K1 P1 band for 7 cm (3”). Shape neck. K31, leave
next 7 stitches on a holder. Sleeve Cast on 42 sts. with 4.5mm
needles, K1, P1, rib for 7 cm (3”) increasing 1st each end on
last row.
Change to 6.5mm needles,and knitting
in stocking stitch increase 1 stitch each side every 6th row till 72
stitches on needle.
Knit without increasing till work
measures 49cm (19”) or length desired. I knitted
this jumper for a man so these sleeves are longer. Making up Sew shoulder seams together, then using a set of 4 number 4.5mm needles pick up stitches round neck as follows: Beginning at left side front pick up 24 sts then the 7 sts off cable needle and then another 24 sts to right side neck. Pick up 34 stitches across back. K1, P1 rib for 5cm (1”) Sew up side seams then sew the sleave seams together leaving 5cm (1) open at the top. This forms part of the armhole seam.
